Welcome to the blogsite for Fantasy Idol 2006 ("FI2")! This site is hosted by KimY, and participation is by invitation only. You may request a set of Fantasy Idol 2006 Game Rules by posting your request, along with your email address, on this site.

The contest officially begins after the final 20-24 contestants are selected, and open call-in voting begins. This should be in mid-late February.

You will need to become a "member" of this blogsite to participate in FI2. Each week, log on to this blog site, and you'll be reminded of the selection required to be made. This reminder will appear as a "post." To make your picks, simply click on the"comment" link to the post. Sometimes, you'll only be asked to select the bottom 3 and contestant to be voted off that week. Other "landmark" times, you'll be asked to make more involved predicitions (like, your "Top 6" or "Top 3.") Pending any technical/user difficulties, this site should be a roadmap for you to keep up with what information must be provided.

So thanks for playing! This season of FI2 is in honor of my Dad, who loved this show, but only because it was fun for us to watch "together" 300 miles apart, and because he so enjoyed harassing me about his beloved Carrie Underwood. So good for her, and good for you, for signing on this year! Hope you have fun!
